On March 6, 2023, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) published direct final rule on the mandatory safety standard for non-full-size baby cribs 16 CFR 1220. According to this amendment, 16 CFR 1220 will now reference ASTM F406-22, Standard Consumer Safety Performance Specification for non-full-size baby cribs as mandatory with no modifications. The new rule will be effective on 3 June, 2023.
