The Taiwan Bureau of Standard, Metrology and Inspection (BSMI) announced the following six categories of products will be incorporated into the Taiwan RoHS control since July 1, 2017. According to CNS 15663 requirements, the contents of the restricted substances should be marked. Product categories include:
Automatic data processor,
Printer,
Image copier,
Television,
Monitor,
Monitor used in the automatic data processing system.
Scope and Restricted Substances Requirement
BSMI has announced standard “CNS 15663 Guidance to reduction of the restricted chemical substances in electrical and electronic equipments” In 2013, which includes restricted substances, maximum concentration values and marking for EEE.
